Sweet moment of Cici’s mom helping her with her gorgeous gown

I love a look a man gives a women when he is smitten. When I met Scott for the first time I instantly noticed the look he gave Cici just when we were getting to know each other. So in love and so passionate for one another. These two make the sweetest couple and I am so honored that I got to help with their beautiful September farm wedding in Cumming, Georgia.

I have known Cici for quite some time now. We met at her sister’s house several years back at our annual labor day party. We always enjoyed a backyard BBQ, playing corn hole, singing karaoke, and just laughing. One of the cookouts Cici brought Scott and introduced him as her fiance. They had just gotten engaged in Ashville, NC shortly before. They both were beaming with joy and couldn’t wait to start planning for their wedding.

Several months passed and I received a phone call from Cici stating they had found their ideal farm wedding venue, photographer, linens, …etc. She  just needed a DJ and my help with Day of Coordination. We set a meeting up and she was very prepared with all the information needed. My husband, Ali Fici, happens to be my side DJ. She was stoked to book him. We learned about the flow of their wedding, the decor, and about each others families.

POPCORN BAR!

On September 23rd 2017, the perfect day began! Stephanie Lorraine from For You, I do was my assistant that day and did an outstanding job. We started at Cici’s sisters house, Hannah, and took her our emergency basket where I met the talented photographer; Capturing Bliss Photography. Cici looked stunning in her gown from Affordable Bridal and  as her soon to be sister in law was doing her hair. We then arrived at Warbington Farms and set all the tables, decorated the sign in table, dessert bar, adorable popcorn station, and the wine/beer area. Cici also had a mega size jenga set, tic tac toe, and corn hole for her guests to enjoy.

Cutest picture I have ever seen! Look at these adorable ring bearers.

The ceremony started promptly and had Cici hiding so Scott didn’t see her until she walked down the aisle and had everyone in awe to the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. It truly was a perfect moment and saw a few tears from our groom as he was in adoration for his bride. When I asked Cici what is something that she will cherish forever from her wedding day she replied,” A moment I will always cherish is the moment I walked down the aisle and saw Scott and his reaction. I think until that moment, everything seemed so surreal. It was in the moment when I saw tears on Scott’s face that is truly hit me that I was about to saw forever to my best friend. That feeling brought happy tears and smiles to my face the rest of the day!

You may now kiss your bride!

Capturing Bliss Photography  took many photos of Cici and Scott in the rolling hills and beautiful scenic views. Guests were to enjoy popcorn and wine and play the yard games as the newly weds were taking pictures. Once the stylish bridal party fashioned in Banana Republic was introduced we fell in love again with their first dance as husband and wife. We continued with dinner catered by Dickey’s BBQ and homemade cupcakes of many flavors by their talented friend Shannon Tribble.

First Dance!

After dancing the night away we ended with a beautiful sparkler exit and saying goodbye to our new family and friends. I will always remember this wedding. It seriously was filled with so much joy and passion.

I also asked Cici was her most vivid memory of the day was she said: ” I honestly cannot pick just one moment! Everyone always told me and Scott to remember to enjoy the day, and we truly did! The day turned out far more perfect than we ever thought possible, so when I think of all those moments of the day, they are all vivid to me!

Cici’s one piece of advice to other brides is: ” I know it is hard not to worry about small details, but my advice is to remember that it will all work out perfectly in the long run! Most of our wedding was DIY, so there were so many detailed that had to be planned, but with the help of Lauren, our families, and everyone else involved, every detail turned out beautifully!
