Kelly and Brian’s Romantic Atlanta Wedding
Have you ever been somewhere that completely took your breath away? I can honestly say that the church that Kelly and Brian had their wedding was the prettiest church I have ever been too. Stunning in every way. Peachtree Christian Church has stolen my heart for the most romantic church in Atlanta. I am in love with their stained glass and long aisle. The ladies who help run the weddings were the sweetest people too. I met Kelly through her sister, Aimee. I was so excited when I heard they were engaged. Aimee is so much fun so, naturally I knew Kelly would be a joy! Sure enough, their day was filled with dancing and lots of smiles. I wish I could go back and be on the dance floor!
On September 15, 2018 Kelly and Brian said, “I do!” at Peachtree Christian Church. Their jewel toned bouquets were created by the talented, The Perfect Posey– along with their gorgeous arrangement boxes at the reception. Kelly wore a stunning dress by LaRaines in Atlanta. Her hair was done in long waves by the talented Kylee Howard Hair. She was the most beautiful bride all beautifully captured by Once Like A Spark!
The reception took place at The Westside Warehouse. What I loved about this venue, is that the owner owns the antique shop next door and lets you use any furniture pieces you desire. Kelly and I had a hay day picking out the bar and lounge furniture with creating little nooks for people to gather. The WestSide Warehouse is the perfect venue to design your dream day. We designed the head table with lovely farm tables and string lights from Luxury Lounge and Lighting and had uplighting to create the entire mood. The wedding favors were the copper mugs at each place setting- they were a hit and made the table setting. We had the cake stand, card box, favor basket and other rentals from Lindsey Wise Designs.
Once the ceremony was over, Kelly and Brian along with the wedding party were transported to The Westside Warehouse for the reception by the Peachtree Trolley Co. They got the cutest pictures with the Trolley! Loved this idea.
Sam Hill Entertainment Band- The Crystal Clear Band Atlanta– introduced the wedding party and we started on the first dances with their family and friends surrounding them. Dinner was served by one of my favorite caterers – Sun In My Belly and they kept the bar hoppin. We then enjoyed the classic wedding cake and the Atlanta United Grooms cake by Confection Perfection and continued dancing the night away. I was so excited to see Kelly and Brian on the stage singing with the band- so much fun!!!
At the end of the night the send off was a surprise to the groom with everyone blowing their vuvuzela! Turned out to be a stellar picture!
Cheers to the McKays!!!
