Grace and Dillon’s Marietta Square Elopement

Intimate Ceremony at Marietta Square Photo credit: Alexis Haggerty

In the year 2020, elopements are very common. This elopement happened actually in 2018 in Marietta Square and was the sweetest of all days. Grace and Dillon officially got married on October 7th, 2018 under the Gazebo at Glover Park. The weather was perfect and her mom ( Mary) and I arranged everything so all Grace (bride) had to do was to show up.

Special Event Factory made the beautiful lush bridal bouquet, wrist corsages, and the grooms and father’s boutonnieres and met us at the gazebo as a surprise for Grace. This bouquet had all the perfect colors and textures- blush, greenery, peach, and ivory. Alexis Haggerty Photography captured the day beautifully. The ceremony was about 30 minutes at the gazebo in Glover Park ( Marietta Square) performed by one of the judges of the Marietta court. Once the ceremony was  over Alexis took some family photos and then walked around Marietta Square with the newly married couple and took a lot of romantic shots as a happily married couple.

As another surprise a blue BMW convertible was waiting to drive Grace and Dillon to the reception lunch at The Chicken and The Egg.

We awaited the couple at Chicken and The Egg, a close by brunch restaurant, and had a few tables with childhood pictures of the two of them and a beautiful small wedding cake for them to cut. The couple did a lovely toast, enjoyed brunch and mimosas, and left happily married.

Cheers to Grace and Dillon! Loved your intimate elopement around my favorite area- Marietta Square!
