Giving Back to the Community
Ever since I can remember I have always tried to give back to the community. When owning a business it is important to show other business owners and your neighborhood that you are involved.
One of the many ways In An Instant gives back is by using my planning and organizational skills in assisting in Marietta City ribbon cutting with Marietta Business Association.
Being on the leadership team with Marietta Business Association has helped my business be surrounded by supportive and positive business owners.
I have loved getting to know local businesses by helping them in their ribbon cuttings and hearing their stories of how their businesses started.
Not only do I just do ribbon cutting, but I also participate in our monthly luncheons by helping with registration and table set up and volunteering my time with our schools. Marietta Business Association luncheon typically has anywhere from 120-190 guests. This is a way for me to meet all different types of people as well as a variety of vendors. I have participated in Marietta High School career day by having a table and encourage students to pursue something that they love. Helping our youth can impact our future.
What is something that you enjoy….
Volunteering at your church?
Feeding the homeless?
Reading at a children’s home?
Walking dogs at an animal shelter?
Take action and learn from your community and find out what role YOU can play.
