I met Mary a few years ago at Rev Coffee when my sister told me that she is a very talented calligrapher (Honey and Olive Lettering) and I should meet her to add her to my list of preferred vendors. We immediately developed a friendship and quickly started working together. Mary referred me t0 my first wedding, was there for me when I was going through a very hard time, has a heart for Mexican food,  and always is praying for my family faithfully. I remember when I got the text that she got engaged. I was sooooo excited for the two of them and knew we had to get started on their vision for what they wanted for  their special day.

On Sunday June, 24th Mary and Michael sealed their love at The Wheeler house in Ballground, GA. It was the perfect day and really embraced their personalities. I love how bright the colors were and the venue fit their vision to a tee! The gorgeous bouquets with bright pink, oranges, greenery, and whites by Barbara Dean Designs were ideal for the warm summer day. Mary’s dress by, Bel Fiore Bridal, was one of the prettiest gowns I have seen and her makeup and hair looked stunning by BLUSH. Mary told me, ” I loved how beautiful everything turned out on our wedding day! Seeing my bridesmaids, our family, and friends, the decor and flowers, and everything else come together was so beautiful! We wanted to showcase our personalities in our wedding through the color scheme and decor, and I feel like that definitely showed and made our wedding one-of-a- kind! Our vendors were absolutely amazing; they are some of the to vendors in Georgia, and it was a blessing to be able to build a beautiful wedding with each of them.”

” My favorite memory of our wedding day was our first look. Being able to have that moment with my soon-to-be husband is something that I will forever cherish. We initially didn’t want to have a first look, but once we realized that we had  tighter timeline than we thought, we decided to do it, and I am so grateful that we did! Seeing Michael before the ceremony just made me even more excited to marry him.” This was a private moment for the two of them and it was just Danielle Hulsey photography and Christopher Little ( videographer) to witness seeing each other for the first time.

The ceremony was full of love and worship and gave me chill bumps with their friends leading everyone in some of their favorite songs to the Lord. After the ceremony guests delighted in small bites and drinks by Events by Dezine while immediate family joined in a private tradition inside the house.

Once the reception started, the Dj ( The TC Show) began announcing the bridal party and the dancing began with the first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. Mary’s father said the sweetest speech that brought everyone into tears.

After everyone danced mary-and-michael-12the night away the guests were brought outside for a dusk sparkler send off into a tiffany blue Rambler. This made for some beautiful pictures and really stuck with the theme of -COLOR!

Some advice that Mary has to offer other brides, ” As exciting as wedding planning and preparing for your marriage can be, make sure to spend time with your other half and not to mention anything wedding related! It’s a piece of advice I was given after my now- husband and I got engaged, and I’m so grateful to have gotten that piece of wisdom! Have date nights where you continue to get to know each other. Do things you love that don’t have to do with your big day. At the end of it all, you and your future spouse will be going back to “normal” after your big day! Remember that time spent enjoying each other outside of your wedding is special and cherish those times! ” —I totally agree!!!

Cheers to the Kueks!
